This panel will share the experiences of these esteemed librarians who have pioneered launching their makerspace/library hybrid into different settings of academia and public libraries. Comparing results on what the outcome was when they integrated tools, technology, and makers into a library setting. This panel will discuss best practices of "making" in a library, how to best transition a new library into a maker space. Each speaker will have a chance to highlight the ways that they made impact and how they have connected to makers within their local communities and campuses, and how to connect with them in order to share the curriculum that they offer.
