NOMCON keynote speaker, Sara Trail, founder of the Social Justice Sewing Academy, whose mission is to: piece together youth voices, textile art, and community in a 21st century sewing circle is leading a community project for up to 78 youth, where they will learn what social justice is and how their voice can be heard as they create a quilt square to address an issue or concern they have in their community. NOMCON attendees are welcome to stop by and observe. If you would like to volunteer your time to help, please contact Kate Warren directly at: kate@nomcon.org.
